I have been seeing this on the news and on some blogs. I was very young when Elvis Presley passed away and I still hear people now and then feel he faked his death.
My opinion is like anyone else’s. I do not think Michael Jackson is faking his death. I think it is rather sad. I look back on his enormous talent and feel sadness that such a gifted man had such a troubled life. There is no doubt that he was indeed blessed with talent beyond what anyone could have imagined. His music and style has changed our culture. In a way, just like Elvis and many others, he will live on.
I would like to think that people will remember him for the wonderful things he did accomplish and not drag his name through the mud. That may not be possible. I am still hoping. That is how I will remember him.
I also want to mention that we should not forget Farrah Fawcett who showed a tremendous amount of courage and tenacity in her battle with cancer. She really was able to publicly show us the strength of the human condition and spirit as so many battle illness. Kuddo’s and love to her.
My wish is that those affected by these poeple will find peace. I believe Michael and Farrah have.
Love,
Michelle
